The Music Chamber is a leading music center that has been serving music students and professionals since 2003. Our aim is to provide the full music experience – learning the instrument of your dream, choosing the right instrument that fits your size and budget and enjoy it in a welcoming environment.
Our spacious 16-studio academy offers quality tutoring on several instruments, while the showroom houses the region’s largest variety of musical instruments, accessories and books at competitive prices.
More than 500 students from around 50 nationalities have made the Dubai-based Music Chamber their second home. It is where they explore life from a different perspective, learn how to play piano, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, guitar – classical, electric & acoustic – drums & percussion and share through performances at our regular cultural activities in the universal language of music.
Lessons by our 14-member international teaching staff are given on a one-to-one basis and in groups for ensembles, theory and aural training, guitar and percussion. Our music classes are at par with top international standards and are recognized by the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music in London.
As a top scorer of Distinction in the globally recognized ABRSM exams, the Music Chamber is a magnet for talent, not only in Dubai, but from neighboring cities. These advanced students are looking for a center where they can continue their musical education under the right supervision and guidance. Candidates sit for the exams at our own premises, where our teachers and admin staff are on hand to offer full support. The Music Chamber has a 100 percent success rate and almost half of our students pass with Distinction.
The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is an examinations board and registered charity based in London, UK, which provides examinations in music at centers around the world. ABRSM is one of four examination boards accredited by Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) to award graded exams and diploma qualifications in music within the UK’s National Qualifications Framework (along with the London College of Music, Rock school Ltd and Trinity College London.
All our instrument lessons are one-on-one, specially tailored according to the age and musical level of each student and his/her practicing habits. Lessons are planned well in advance by the teachers in close collaboration with the Academy Advisor to choose the appropriate method books and supplementary materials.
However, each lesson usually includes the main elements of music learning – technical skills, sight-reading, aural training and musical expressions through masterpieces to build a healthy repertoire. Progress reports are issued twice a year by the teachers and signed by the Academy Advisor with recommendations to follow in the next stage. Students are encouraged to perform on stage at least twice a year, take part in regional and international competitions and exams to maintain their momentum for growth.
We are proud that our students and their parents have formed one of the greatest communities in Dubai under the musical umbrella of the Music Chamber. Long lasting friendships have blossomed over the years that parents, mostly expatriates, remain in touch even after they leave Dubai.
Parents attend performances by other students at our in-house Auditorium in a beautiful display of support. They also share with us special events and attend birthday parties we throw for our staff – teachers, admin and sales. We are proud of their friendship and greatly appreciate their unwavering support.
